Welcoming Sameer to the Team

I take great pleasure in sharing that Sameer Narang has joined us as the third co-founder. I have known Sameer since July 16th, 2001 -- the day when we had arrived on the IIT Guwahati campus. His sense of calm stood out as the rest of us tried to make sense of our new life, like a headless chicken. Not Sameer. He always knew what he was doing. And hence, it felt a great honor when he agreed to join us as a co-founder.

Sameer has led a very interesting professional life. He started working as an engineer. Got his MBA from IIM Calcutta and dived into the world of options trading.

He realized where his true passion was, dropped out of that rat race, and came back to the world of solving complex engineering challenges. Since then, he has had a fascinating run at Bloomberg where he went deep into data platforms and machine learning.

With Nitin taking care of product and design, Sameer on tech, me on everything else -- we complete full functional coverage for the founding team. This is a privilege as a start-up.

Sameer's mental models on decision-making and creative disagreements are a great addition to how Nitin and I work. And, he is also a top-notch developer at the top of his game.

Nitin and I are looking forward to building epic things with Sameer.
